The left sidebar lists the active modules in a fixed order: Chats, Visitors, CRM, Tickets, Phone, Marketing, Knowledge base, Automation, Reports, Settings. Two entries expand in place: Chats shows the Inbox folders under it, CRM shows Contacts, Companies, Deals and the CRM tools. Badges show unread counts; a red badge means a conversation is waiting for a human.

The sidebar and the conversation list are resizable by dragging the divider or with the arrow keys when the divider is focused. Widths are remembered per browser. Below 768 px the sidebar becomes a drawer behind the ☰ button.

Which modules a member sees depends on their role. Switching a module off in Settings → Modules hides it from everyone but keeps its data.

  • Company switcher. A person can belong to several RolChat accounts. The avatar menu lists them; switching re-issues the session for the other account without a full page reload and every URL changes its /c/:companyId/ prefix.
  • Site switcher. Inside an account, most screens are filtered by site. The site picker sits in the top bar; the choice is remembered per screen.

Every list with filters and every record has a stable URL under /c/:companyId/…. Copy the address bar and a colleague opens the same filtered list or the same contact, provided their role allows it. Filters live in the query string, so a saved browser bookmark keeps them.

Each screen shows its path (for example Chats / Sales inbox / Alice Martin). Every crumb is a link.

  • Cmd/Ctrl + K opens the command palette: fuzzy search over every command, record and page, with recent items first.
  • ? opens the shortcuts reference. The full list is on the keyboard shortcuts page.
  • Single-key shortcuts (/ to search, S to snooze, E to resolve, M to mark) are suppressed while you type in a field. Modifier shortcuts such as Cmd + Enter to send always work.

The dashboard is available in 40 languages and renders dates in each member’s own time zone; both are set in the profile. Arabic and Hebrew render right-to-left. Per-account overrides of interface strings (for example renaming “Tickets” to “Cases”) are possible in Settings → Translations.
