Segment events

Streams conversation, contact, ticket, marketing and phone events to a Segment source, as track calls with the RolChat event name and payload, and identify calls when a visitor is identified.

Setup

1. Create an HTTP API source in Segment and copy its write key.
2. Settings → Plugins → Catalogue → Segment events → Connect, paste the key, choose the event families.
3. Check the Segment debugger for the first events.

Notes

• Personal data is sent only for identified contacts and only the fields you enable; anonymous visitor sessions are sent with the visitor ID only.
• Consent is respected: analytics events for visitors who declined analytics are not streamed.
